The World Economic Covid Action Platform mentioned that COVID-19 is a stark reminder that our assault on the natural world has consequences. The spread of COVID-19 has been hastened and exacerbated by humanity’s long-term assault on the natural world. The pandemic should serve as a wake-up call that our impact on the environment is not just carbon emission alone. It is now time to start addressing nature related risks caused by human activities.
